In 2019, the AmplifyChange team in partnership with researchers from the UK, Zimbabwe, Somaliland and Somalia finalised a 2.5-year multi-country prospective research study into policy advocacy to address sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in Somaliland and Puntland and for safe abortion in Zimbabwe.
In this recently published paper, the researchers explain the potential and benefit of prospective research on policy advocacy and offer learning points for advocates and researchers alike who may be considering doing prospective research.
