AmplifyChange are excited to welcome Sharon Quntai as our newest AmplifyChange board director. Sharon brings a wealth of experience and expertise in strategic global health communications.
She joins five other board directors to guide the strategic direction of AmplifyChange, approve funding applications, provide oversight of financial and risk management, ensure compliance and accountability, and approve policies and procedures to govern organisational activity.
Sharon Quntai is a strategic communications specialist with over eight years’ experience leading media relations, advocacy, and health communications initiatives across Africa. She currently serves as the East Africa Communications and Media Relations Specialist at FINN Partners, where she advises global health foundations, pharmaceutical companies, NGOs, and multilateral organisations, including the Novartis Foundation, Gates Foundation, Gavi, Merck, Ferring, Sanofi, CCIH, GNP+, World Shoe and WWF, among others.
Her expertise spans stakeholder engagement, reputation management, strategic media relations, and communications for complex health and development programmes. She has led high-level media and advocacy initiatives across African markets, working closely with policymakers, senior leaders, researchers, and civil society partners to strengthen visibility and drive impact on critical public health issues.
She has a background in journalism and storytelling, with a focus on health, social issues, and community voices across Africa. Her work has centred on telling stories that reflect local realities and elevate voices and experiences that are often overlooked.
