New advocacy planning films now online
We are delighted to introduce new advocacy planning films developed in response to feedback from grantees for more guidance around advocacy for policy and law reform.
This new set of three films, intended for AmplifyChange grantees and applicants who advocate to change policies or laws, provides step-by-step guidance on how to collaboratively plan an advocacy campaign.
The films follow on from the success of our User Guides which give information and guidance on project design and implementation
Each of the videos uses clear, concise graphics and provides tips and techniques to illustrate how to develop an advocacy strategy and build an advocacy campaign at national or devolved levels.
By the end of the three clearly presented films grantees and applicants will be able to confidently facilitate their fellow campaigners to:
- Identify common problems in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR)
- Draw out the causes of the problem
- Agree objectives
- Identify and analyse decision makers and stakeholders
- Develop messages
- Undertake tactical planning
- Identify risks
Crucially, the films also show how to translate the advocacy plan into an AmplifyChange project, existing advocacy campaign or funding application.
Watch the films below now, or via our YouTube channel, to #AmplifyYourMovement.
(French subtitles are available for all three of the films).
