Advocacy training for LGBTI activists in Zimbabwe
LGBTI members of the communities are now more visible and are being invited to be part of the local advocacy forums.

Gays and Lesbians of Zimbabwe (GALZ) conducted advocacy training for 180 LGBTI activists, including their own community members and individuals from other LGBTI organisations, to co-ordinate a nation-wide movement. Members of these communities are now more visible and are being invited to be part of local advocacy forums.

Further to their avocacy trianign work, GALZ produced a report, ‘Actus Reus: An Analysis of human rights violations against LGBTI persons in Zimbabwe’. The report includes an analysis of the trends emerging from the annual violations reports compiled by GALZ between 2012 and 2017.
