About

The project’s main objective is to build a network of female, Dalit paralegals living in two slum areas of Delhi, to encourage women access reproductive health services and other related services, such as food and water and sanitation.

The project fuses training, community monitoring and the use of grievance mechanisms (administrative complaints and litigation) to improve access to reproductive healthcare for Dalit women.

Community members involved in the project will identify, document and report gaps in service delivery through an SMS and web platform.

Data collected will be used to address gaps in the delivery of basic services.
