About

Women’s Action Group (WAG) is implementing this project in three districts of Zimbabwe: Mbire, Guruve and Beitbridge.

The programme seeks to:

  • eliminate barriers against women and girls with disabilities in accessing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Gender Based Violence (GBV) services within the region
  • empower women and girls with disabilities to demand their SRH rights and services and to speak out

WAG is working closely with the service providers and policy makers such as the Ministry of Health and Child Care, the Victim Friendly Unit Police, Social Services, and the Ministry of Womens Affairs 'Gender and Community Development' in ensuring that access to quality and comprehensive SRH, HIV and GBV services is given.
